Pro Pavement Services Ltd. offers comprehensive driveway paving solutions tailored to new construction projects, ongoing maintenance, and complete resurfacing or replacement.
Driveway Paving for New Construction
Building a new driveway starts with proper grading and drainage planning to ensure long-term stability. We then lay an 8-inch aggregate base of ¾” gravel, compacting it for a strong foundation. Finally, we apply a durable HL3A hot mix asphalt, which offers superior longevity compared to standard driveway mixes.
Proper Driveway Maintenance
To extend the lifespan of your asphalt driveway, regular maintenance is essential. After the asphalt cures (typically 6 months to 1 year), applying a high-quality coal-tar emulsion sealer helps protect it from sun damage, water infiltration, and wear. For best results, sealing should be done every 3 to 4 years, depending on usage and sun exposure.
Removal & Replacement of Existing Asphalt
Over time, asphalt can deteriorate due to age, heavy use, or lack of maintenance. If a driveway reaches the end of its lifespan, our team will remove and replace the existing pavement. We ensure a stable foundation by verifying the 8-inch aggregate base, reusing existing gravel where possible, and reinforcing it as needed. A fresh asphalt layer is then applied, restoring your driveway to a smooth, durable, and visually appealing surface.
